Uzuni began his professional career in his hometown. He went on to play for Apolonia in Fier and Laçi before leaving the Albanian league.
Two seasons in Croatia marked his first spell abroad as a professional. His first senior appearance for Albania came that October.
In Turin on 24 November, Uzuni put Ferencváros ahead against Juventus in the 19th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo equalised before half-time. Juventus won 2–1.
Uzuni scored 23 league goals as Granada won Spain’s second division and returned to La Liga. He finished the season as the division’s top scorer.
After 49 goals in 106 competitive matches for Granada, Uzuni crossed the Atlantic. Austin signed him as a Designated Player in January.
Myrto Uzuni was born in Berat on 31 May 1995. His family moved to Greece when he was ten. When his professional career began in 2013, it was back in his hometown, in the shirt of Tomori Berat.
Spells at Apolonia and Laçi took him through the Albanian leagues. In 2018 he moved to Zagreb to play for Lokomotiva. That October he took the field for Albania against Jordan in Elbasan.
A right-footed forward who can play through the middle or out wide, Uzuni went on to score in the Champions League for Ferencváros and win promotion in Spain with Granada. In January 2025 he joined Austin FC.
